Une version moche d'Inscryption. C'est un démake du jeu développé par Daniel Mullins Games. C'est une version du pauvre, pour ceux qui ont pas d'argent. Voila voila.

Hi!
So, the game is a bit too big for Pico 8, so I split the cartridge into four parts:
- one cartridge with the main menu
- one cartridge for the French tutorial
- one cartridge for the English tutorial
- one cartridge for the regular game
Merging cartridges is possible on Itchio, but not on the Pico 8 store, so I only posted the regular game cartridge there.

There are still a few minor bugs (especially the ones described in the comments, lol), but I've reached the character limit for Pico 8 cartridges, so it's impossible for me to fix them without deleting some cards.
I coded this game when I was a student, so I apologize if the code isn't perfectly clean; I did my best back then.

Bro I lost because they started with 2 3/3 and one 1/1 flying
also I got soft locked in a different run
Using Repeatedly Sacrificable to fully pay for something, while the board is full, leads to a softlock.
i won with a 3/13 stoke. it had adders bite, flying, 2way hit, porcupine quill thing also.
I won by using a 5/7 mantis and an undying cat, but the cat had the adder's bite. 😂
And I beat it again with a mantis 1/1 with adder's bite, a flying mantis 6/3, and a sparrow with mantis hit 6/3.
beat with anything other than mantis?
Honestly, I wish this was longer I love playing this.
My only complaint about this game is that the tutorial matches are way to difficult sometimes leaving players with only one candle. Then it throws you into another battle that you cant win making you die without a fighting chance
Bees with upgraded health and double strike is massive. I had 3 of them all with double strike and obviously flying. They all had 3 attack and varying from 3-4 health. One of them had double strike from a Pronghorn so I gave that one the bee hive sigil and the most health bc of it moving around. I also had another beehive and a wolf in my deck. Near the end this deck flew through the game lmaoo.

I have no idea what's going on. I could only use the squirrel before ringing the bell, which gets beaten by the other cards pretty quickly. Then you choose from two stacks, one are the cards you can't use and the other is a squirrel. So I got another squirrel, they beat that, a candle burned down and some fish lit up. Then there was another screen with a map of paths in the woods, but all you can do is press up. Sometimes the map would change, sometimes a card would increase it's number, and sometimes you'd go back to the fish candle screen.
Does anyone describe how to play this?
In the main menu, there is a tutorial in English and in French. It's not perfect, but it should answer most of your questions.

Cool idea, really loved the original game. I don't like the graphic style of this version, though. It's really tiring for my eyes.
